Recently I have been taught to use AWS (Lambda, CloudFormation), and MySQL/MariaDB, with a group of friends consisting of all professionals except me. We have been working for several months to create a website to handle a "League of Legends" tournament handler for a group event that we are holding later in the year. This is done through AWS services and creating lambdas that regularly extract our account match data from the Riot Games API to consolidate into player evaluations to define skill levels for all participants both before and during "tournament" matches, and to handle the physical creation of dates to play said games on. App development
During my time learning, I have made and maintained several small local applications with intent to make them Discord bot functionalities that are viewable on my GitHub profile at github.com/xZexiion
As well as this I have made small contributions to another friend's project which can be seen here at github.com/fqhd/LoLytics where we used and adapted an old model of a program I created to break down and analyze match data in depth from the Riot Games API to train his AI model for his application which has been used for some video coverage in the League of Legends community.

Due to the pandemic, I was unable to complete my college education and thus we received a predicted grade based on our work thus far. I have since been self-teaching programming and software development (with tutoring from professionls in the field as well), and have been able to create a project with a group of friends that is currently being used as afore mentioned. We plan on this being developed further to be deployed for public use in the future.

While not directly relevant to my current pursual of software development, my work within the NHS Facilities team has allowed me to gain experience in working as a team and delegating responsibilities effectively when problems arise (i.e. short staffing issues). As well as this I have obviously been around all kinds of people which has helped me develop strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Interests
In my free time I enjoy playing video games, particularly "League of Legends" at the moment, and I have been playing games for my entire life. As well as this I was part of a local amateur baseball team for the last 5 years until I decided to stop playing due to minor injury and focus on my health and recovery. During my time playing though, our team managed to create unforgetable memories such as winning the national championship in 2021.
